Once you've made a mistake, it's difficult to regain perfectly shaped, full eyebrows. Ange et Cils takes a look at the steps to avoid so you don't regret anything.

Over-plucked, spaced apart, straight, arched... Eyebrows can change how others perceive us. And while we must work on them, a bad move can have consequences that are difficult to hide or repair. We're going to list these mistakes to spare us from them.
Plucking your eyebrows too frequently
The sight of an unsightly hair can traumatize eyebrow perfectionists, but plucking it out immediately isn't the solution. Subjected to too frequent torture, "the hair system risks growing back in an unsightly manner." The result: we end up with hairs growing in all directions and that we can no longer tame. So what can we do? We believe that "plucking them every month is a good rhythm" and we advise giving them a few moments of respite: "We quickly fall into a vicious circle by removing a hair on the right, a hair on the left, then another hair on the right and so on... Until disaster strikes." After whipping out the tweezers too enthusiastically, it's difficult to regain a well-defined eyebrow line.
Thinning your eyebrows to the extreme
So arm yourself with patience and redraw your line about once a month... but also take precautions. Because the line between well-plucked and over-plucked eyebrows is very thin. Kendall Jenner still remembers the day she went too far, in an article published on her blog in August 2016: "When I was a teenager, on a somewhat strange whim, I plucked my entire eyebrows! Luckily, they grew back, but my sisters were completely panicking." In case of disaster, it is always possible to cheat with a pencil or a Henna eyebrow tint. They will fill in the gaps, give the illusion of thickness, and draw a beautiful line. But it is still better to spare yourself these scares, and take it slow.
Shorten the tail of the eyebrow
Maintain thickness, yes, but also length: The goal is to lengthen the gaze. That's why we put eyeliner, mascara, or extensions on the outer side of the eye. We warn you against plucking the tail of the eyebrows. To limit the damage, the method is simple: "The eyebrows must always be longer than the eyes. (...) And above all, do not draw the line down from the middle of the eyebrow." It is always possible to get rid of a few superfluous and misplaced hairs, but be careful not to fall into a spiral that would lead to a line that is too thin. By being manipulated too much, the hairs in the area could grow back thick, in an anarchic manner, or even never come back. To be sure that they are the ideal length, simply follow two rules. The head of the left eyebrow must be parallel to the left nostril and pass through the inner corner of the eye. As for its tail, it must be located on the same line with the external corner, and this same nostril. The geometry is the same for the other side.
Wanting symmetrical eyebrows
Straight, swooping, airy... We all have our favorite eyebrow shape. Except that it doesn't always match their natural curve. The quest for perfection can become obsessive, except that our eyes are not identical. Indeed, even if contemporary ideals favor symmetry, few people have faces considered perfect. Unfortunately, not all of them will be able to draw inspiration from Cara Delevingne or Kim Kardashian, so there's no point in coming to the beautician with a photo of your idol.
Giving your eyebrows the wrong shape
Those who dream of perfect, straight eyebrows, Lebanese style, should consider one important element: If the nose is ideally shaped, you can have straight eyebrows, which will give strength. On the other hand, if, like many, it deviates or includes a bump, it could result in an overly severe look. We would therefore prefer "a slightly inclined eyebrow head, for almond-shaped eyes." The goal here is to highlight each face. If you are unsure, the easiest thing to do is to see a professional, who can put you back on the right track.
